As you decide what sectors to focus on, keep in mind the group of students that you are working with. Ask yourself what sectors impact their communities the most and what sectors they may have never heard of before. Sectors like education, the environment and health care are ones that students will likely have the most background knowledge on.
Depending on the amount of time and interest of the students, you can go in depth into all sectors or chose a few. You could also have students (either individually or in small groups) look at different sectors and then share that information with the rest of the class.
