Instructor directions are listed below:

  1. Explain to students that they will keep the design of their invention as they begin the hands-on engineering activities.
     
  2. Explain to students that once they have learned how to program a Servo, they will incorporate that motor into the creation of a representation of their IoT solution.

As students transition into the engineering activities, encourage them to remain in the groups they designed their IoT solution with.  Alternatively, you can do the brainstorm in the engineering space to ensure that groups are maintained throughout the experience.  If you are completing the activities over multiple days, ensure that students remain in their current seats from this point forward.
