- Click and drag an Image from the “User Interface” option of the "Palette" section to the Screen in the "Viewer" section.
- Notice that Image1 has been added to the list of components in the Components section.
- In the Properties section, click on “Picture”, click “Upload File” and then click “Browse” to search for and select the image you want to use.
- In the "Properties" section, change the Height to 100 pixels and the Width to 150 pixels.
Circulate the room to ensure that students have properly added an image. It is not necessary to change the name because only one image is used, however it is a good practice.
You may want to download an image you would like students to use to each computer prior to beginning this activity.
Don’t see Image in the Palette
- In the "Palette" section, click on User Interface and Image is the 4th option. Drag and drop the image onto the screen in the "Viewer" section.
Don’t see where in the "Properties" section to change the picture, height, or width
- Make sure that you are modifying the properties of the image and not the screen or the button by clicking on Image1 in the "Components" section to modify the image properties.
- Scroll down and keep looking, it’s there!
